Changi Airport

After 2 long flights from SFO we have been in Singapore for about 8 hours. It's balmy - about 78 degrees. We got in about 2 am. A few of us hopped a cab downtown to join the Chinese New Years revelers and then off to a noodle shop to try some of the local flavors. A got a mug of "lemon juice" which had pickled lemon skin. It was hot and lots of young people out. The downtown was much like any other modern city and most people speka enough English to get by...gotta go - boarding for Kathmandu...
