Preparations

The past weeks have been spent making a few preparations for the journey: immunizations, packing, tickets, etc. We leave in a few days and I'm very excited. I have never been on a medical mission, nor Asia for that matter and I am looking forward to the experience. Kelly and Michael have gone to spend time with the grandparents while I 'm away. I miss them but thankfully everyone on the team will be able to communicate from the road. My cousin Tim - and his company Iridium Satelite - has donated satelite phones for the use on the mission.
